The use of stainless steel multistage pumps is basically the same as that of ordinary carbon steel multistage centrifugal pumps. It is only more corrosion resistant than ordinary multi-stage centrifugal pumps. Stainless steel multi-stage pumps are generally used for the transmission of corrosive media. Therefore, more attention should be paid to its use.

Some customers think that since stainless steel multistage pumps have so many advantages, they don’t need to pay extra attention to their use. This idea is wrong. In fact, if you want stainless steel multistage pumps to have a longer service life, the operation efficiency of multistage pumps is higher. , Changsha Zhonglian Pump Industry recommends that everyone pay attention to the following points:

   1. Ensure that the self-balancing multi-stage pump body and pipeline are filled with liquid before starting.

  2. Before starting, the inlet valve is opened and the outlet valve is closed (make the pump run under low load conditions to start the pump)

  3. After starting, slowly open the outlet valve, pay attention to the pressure of the outlet pressure gauge, and ensure that the pressure is stable at the pressure required by the process conditions.

  4. During operation, pay attention to observe the vibration, noise, leakage, temperature rise and other conditions of the pump body. If the screw pump is abnormal, deal with it in time.

   5. Stop the pump (it is required to close the outlet valve first, and then stop the pump, even if the pump is running under low load conditions).

   6. The stainless steel multi-stage pump that has been idle for a long time needs to discharge the material in the pump body.

If it is a stainless steel multi-stage pump with sliding bearings and the vibration cannot be eliminated after the above work, the contact of the bearing bush should be checked. The normal bearing bush and the lower bush should have uniform contact marks, mainly distributed in the middle and lower parts, and the contact area should be up to Above 75%, there should be a gap in the upper bush, generally 0.1-0.15% of the shaft diameter. The use of the upper bush gland on the upper centrifugal pump core pump is basically the same as that of the ordinary carbon steel multi-stage centrifugal pump. It is only more corrosion resistant than ordinary multi-stage centrifugal pumps. Stainless steel multi-stage pumps are generally used for the transmission of corrosive media. Therefore, more attention should be paid to its use.
